This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, GitHub processes your IP address and technical request data (such as browser type and time of access) in server logs. It does this to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). GitHub is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Visitor statistics: GoatCounter

To see how many people visit and which pages they read, this site uses GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service. GoatCounter sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses. It does not track you across websites or build profiles. It records the page visited, the referring site, browser and screen size, and the country derived from the IP address, which is then discarded. Legal basis: legitimate interest in basic, anonymous usage statistics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See the GoatCounter privacy policy.

Contact by email

If you email me, I use your address and message only to reply and handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). I delete correspondence when it's no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Links to LinkedIn, GitHub and other sites only take effect when you click them. From then on, the privacy policy of that site applies.
